Catacombe: Quidam LP (transparent blue)

catacombe

It’s been a while since I have purchased pure post-rock album and this is nice album to cut the silence. I picked this up from the Post office half an hour ago and it’s playing on the background as I’m writing this. Sounds nice, actually this sounds more than nice. Atmospheric post-rock like it should be played. This goes to my top three when talking about bands playing post-rock (other two are Toundra and If These Threes Could Talk), so in my opinion awesome performance from these Portuguese instrumentalists. Limited to 200 copies on transparent blue and 200 copies on clear “flamed” orange vinyl. Available from the band on their BandCamp site (I ordered my copy there and it came nicely packaged). Oh, and that beautiful cover picture..
