Mixed feelings about this record (and it just because the picture on the cover). Numenorean and their debut album “Home”. This Canadian band have managed to produce a damn good sounding black metal album, and I really dig this one. It’s a shame that this nihilistic cover art has taken so much attention from the music itself (been reading so much reviews about this album and nearly every time the cover has been mentioned). Music itself is very intense, raw and for me this is one of the best black metal releases during this year. Released by Season of Mist and this clear version (limited to 150 copies) is still available from Season of Mist (EU). For customers outside EU region there’s white-colored (limited to 200 pieces) & regular black ones available from Season of Mist (US). Home is where we all are heading.. Great record with very disturbing cover art.
