Hazemaze: Hymns Of The Damned LP (mint green)

hazemze002

Here’s some 70’s influenced hard rockin’ stoner in your face! The band is from where else than Sweden, I wasn’t even surprised about that fact. This is Hazemaze’s second full-length and after listening to this several times in the row I’m forced to go after their debut one. This is released by mighty Cursed Tongue Records on mint green (sold out) and on orange vinyl. Orange version is still available from the source, CTR and via BandCamp. If you prefer cassette format better, head to the BandCamp site or Stoner Witch Records.

I got my copy with some corner damage on the cover (after treatment by beloved postal delivery), so I encourage myself to ask the label if they had some extra copies of the cover. And they did. Now I got me a pristine copy with a shiny cover. CTR was ready to send the cover without shipping charge but I was more than happy to handle those. An awesome record label, I appreciate!

The Black Furs: Stereophonic Freak Out vol.1 LP (transparent green) + CS version

the_black_furs002

Some dirty stuff from Argentina. About a year and a half ago I bought The Black Furs debut album via Golden Dawn Recording and that filthy doomed sound is still alive and breathing! I got me this green variant and bought also cassette version, so that might tell how much I like this album. There’s something strange happening in Argentina for sure, first Mephistofeles and now The Black Furs. Both versions of this album (cassette & vinyl) were available via Stoner Witch Recordings but are long gone by now. Hell Yeah!! I got mine, hope you did too.

Saint Karloff / Devil’s Witches: Coven Of The Ultra-Riff LP (green/black marbled)

Ha! Scored a Devil’s Witch release (on vinyl) the second time in a row! Maybe just because there are 700 copies floating around. Have to admit that I ordered two copies, from two different sources just to make sure that I get at least one pristine copy without corner dings etc. Well, I got one pristine copy even though I was worried when picking those packages from the post office, both records came packed in those “most” hazardous mailers (mailers without “buffer” zones & without stiffeners). Anyways, record itself sounds amazing, both bands are marvellous and because of this split-release, I even ordered that Saint Karloff’s upcoming album too. Love is in the air.. or should I rather say Love is Doom.. Vinyl version is released by Majestic Mountain Records and cassette version by Stoner Witch Records (yeah, got me a CS version too).
