And then some darkness to rule the night. I have been listening to this album quite a lot via BandCamp lately. I have to admit that I don’t know nothing about black metal scene nowadays. This band is categorized to that specific genre but I disagree. Of course, there are certain elements here that are similar to this genre but I’d rather call this “darkened” metal with echoes of death metal, hmm… or could we call this post-black metal? Thing that makes this record more interesting is clean vocals on some of these tunes, vocals that completes the whole. Great debut from this Australian group and I hope to hear more of them in the near future, Place in my record rack is secured. Vinyl seems to be limited to several different color variations; red (100 pcs), clear (100 pcs), white (150 pcs), green (200 pcs) and regular black.
